What should I expect from the first session?
The first session is typically a time to become acquainted with your therapist, to express your concerns that bring you to therapy, and to begin to inform your therapist of your history. Over the first few sessions, you will have an opportunity to get a sense of Catherine’s therapeutic style and office environment. You will then be able to determine whether your working relationship will be a good fit for both of you, and to work together to establish your goals for therapy.
How long is each session?
Each session is approximately 45-55 minutes in length.
What forms of payment do you accept at the office?
Payment is accepted in the form of cash or check and due at time of service.
Do you accept insurance?
Most insurance companies will pay for a portion of outpatient mental health services. Some require authorization prior to services being rendered. Please check with your insurance company for the specific requirements and limitations of your coverage, as well as any deductibles and co-pays for which you are responsible.
